How long do you need to know a person?

I guess this a real hard question to answer.

Even though I have been with myself for 23 years, I don't even know myself well. So, how do I expect to know someone well in just a few weeks....

Maybe this is something I need to work on....

我從來不相信自己的選擇。對自己沒有信心， 很在意別人的看法。我從來不知道喜歡一個人的感覺是如何。或許自我防衛的心太強了，從不向別人透露自己的想法。時常與別人唱反調，希望有人的呵護。

但是近期來，我或許讓自己的感覺漸漸的表露出來。漸漸的認識自己的想法，漸漸得讓自己變得脆弱。希望可以讓自己盡情享受感情世界。但是這一切卻讓自己受傷了。

是因爲我的猶豫不決嗎？是我做錯了嗎？是我想太多了嗎？是我讓別人影響了嗎？是我的改變來的太遲了嗎？

爲什麽儅我下定決心，認清自己的感覺的時候才要對我說不呢？爲什麽儅我準備付出所有的時候才要我停止一切？

爲什麽總是跟隨你的決定？爲什麽只有你的想法是對的呢？爲什麽我卻無言相對？是因爲我認同你還是不知如何是好？

或許自己太傻了吧。或許自己太單純了吧。 或許是未曾嘗試過痛失的感覺。

如果讓一切從來，或許我不應該如此執著。

那麽以後的我應該有所保留嗎？

Canon Photo5 Competition

I am not too sure how many of you are aware of this competition held by Canon Australia. I was told about this competition where Canon will send you 5 items and you have to produce 5 different photos featuring those items. Well, simple enough. However, the items that were given were just normal yet simple items, namely boxes, dots, chalk, cellophane and balloon. So, seeing these items, what will you think of? How they inspire you? To tell the truth I have no single idea. hahahaa. I just joined the competition because the prizes are great and attractive~~~though I doubt I'll ever win them since the winner is decided based on votes! So, if my photo is selected by the judges for voting....PLEASE PLEASE vote for me *big wet eyes*....

Anyway, I got those items before my exams and being the procrastinator I did not even attempt to take any photos (read: lazy). Guess what? After visiting the gallery of those photos of other competitors, I was even more discouraged to join since their photos are very professional. Thinking that I will definitely not win.

Well, today is the last day of uploading my photos. At last, I took some of my time to take the pictures as well as editing them and hopefully they'll approve my photos and put them up in the gallery. *fingers crossed*

So, here are the photos I submitted. Do not ask why I took those photos this way coz I do not know either. I just make do of what I have in my room and my pathetic amateur photoshop skills to produce these pictures. =P Initially, I had these great ideas in my mind which I thought of in my sleep which cause me not sleeping the whole night (if anyone of you remember me saying that I was insomniac for the whole night). And I did not use any of those ideas. Ok, enough of me talking. Here are the pictures:


~This is the box that they gave with the other 4 items in each of the compartment~



~This is what I came up with: Steps: emphasizing on the lines and shadows (making up my own story here) haha...~

~10 DOTS given...and instead of taking them out to stick, I used them as they are (on the piece of glossy paper) because I do not want to have the hassle to take them out from the surface they are stick on because I want to be different >.<~



~My so-called cross road that everyone faces with the dots representing the steps till we reach our choices...(yeah, I know, it's far-fetching but who cares)~



~The cellophane is actually a piece of glass paper (initially I thought it's cellophane tape and I was scratching my head to think how on earth can someone take a picture of a cellophane tape), but anyway...~

~Space: Dusts representing the stars and gallaxies in space...hahaha(my imagination rocks)~



~I was contemplating whether I should submit this instead as broken pieces, but I thought there are quite a number of photos similar to this...so disregarded this~



~So, anyone knows what is this? I call it the taufun or cyclone making a mess~hahahaahah....~


All in all, I think you guys might think I'm crazy with all my bullshitting skills. hahaha. OR my photos really suck and don't stand a chance to even be in the finals...sigh....
Wishing that everyone is kind-hearted to vote for me so that I can get the DSLR~~~Please, other competitors have better DSLR than the prize, but I only used my IXUS. Unfair :(

Sculpture by the Sea - Bondi

On Sunday, 11 November 2007, a day after my exam, we braved the sun and went to Bondi to admire the sculptures by the sea held by NAB (National Australian Bank).

This "Sculpture by the Sea" at Bondi is Australia's biggest annual outdoor event for exhibition of sculptures.

Anyway, without me blabbing around, here are some pictures for you who had missed the event~ Try again next year if you had missed out. hahaha (that is if you are in Sydney). Oh ya, this is my first time attempting to edit the photos before posting. So, this shows how bored and free I am. Oh, and also the time and effort I am willing to put in after my change of layout. I have no idea how long this will last but just enjoy. The editing of the pictures might not be great, but it's better than nothing. hahaha.


~The first sculpture of the day - a twisted spoon, simple yet beautiful~



~This is cute - can you see there are 3 ppl?~



~This is cool because it uses the background as its backdrop~



~The "sticks" are arranged to form a circle, this is just part of the circle~
if you see clearly, they used a range of materials (such as syringes) to form those "stick flowers"...=P



~I have no idea what the sculpture is trying to portray, but it just looks funny... and hence the posing picture of SK with it (my idea)~ hahaha...



~the actual sculpture when seen has a larger head than the body and also his "D***"(very small, seriously) but it's not shown here~ well, I guess you know why I took this picture and put it here...enough said >.<



~Lastly, the "tourists" that brought you the above pictures~

p/s: we did not purchase the booklet introducing the sculptures featured as it costs AUD 7 (read: we are cheapskate). So, I could not give you the full details on those sculptures (the artist, inspiration, meanings....) There are around 100 sculptures featured, it also means that we walked a LOOONNNGGG way to see them all!!!

p/p/s: our aim was just to take pretty pictures and get tanned seriously, my feet now have the stripes of my shoes - uneven tan...(if you get what I mean)

New Layout

Too simple??
I thought so too.... not much colours....but it'll do for now...

Yes, I had finished my exams and i Felt relieved since I had 4 exams in 4 days...
Will be back to Msia soon, but at the mean time I'll "TRY" to clean my room n my notes n chill....
hahaha...

Anyways, enough for my ramblings, will "TRY" to update this blog with interesting stuff...BUT read the title of the blog~it's "a world of boredom"... so this is wat u'll expect from here "BOREDOM"

Last day of holidays~

OMG~ I can't believe this, 3 weeks had passed and tomorrow will be the first day of 2nd semester. 1 1/2 years to go before I graduate from Uni, time really flies. Well, I guess I did not do much in this holidays, seeing that I had listed out the things I SHOULD HAVE done for holidays but nothing much was done. The only thing I did was watching endless drama series, animes and youtube as well as eating alot.

Sorry for the lack of updates, when a person is lazy, blogging would not be the priority, so bear with me. I'm only interested in something for a short while then the fire dies down. Oh ya, I am planning to learn salsa, hope I'll have the determination.

Gold Coast was fun and cold when you are playing with water in the middle of winter and standing on top of the tower which is 4 levels high waiting for your rides, wearing only your swimsuit. Cool~ >.<

Yup, that's all folks~ gotta sleep....

Reason for not wanting to do laundry...

It's because after you took the laundry out of the washing machine, you realised that not only one but a few of your favourite (n nearly new) clothes were not the same as before... i.e. there are more colours on the clothes than they should be... n worse of all, the "new" colours are all over with different shades...
